AT&T broadband 19.95/month for 6 month free installation MIR

Was just wondering...

In January, the credit that users with modems get for owning their modem before the rate went up will no longer be applied to our bill. (AT&T raised rates so modem owners and non-modem owners pay the same amount.) Since I own my cable modem, I wonder if I can have them come out and install their modem (since I'm paying for it anyway) and sell my old modem.

AT&T in Maplewood, MN area. Free 2 months, no contract, no installation, free cable modem. I am using it now and it is excellent

MySTified3k: i live in same town as you...no complaints here with attbi. well it was bettter when it was 6mb down instead of 1.5mb but it still is pretty quick.

Lately, I can not connect to the internet sometimes, even during morning-afternoon hours. I am moving, so no more attbi in a couple of days. My friends dsl rocks, never encounter a problem while playing at his LAN jams, sometimes 12+ hours on Sat or Sun.

Ok, says order by Nov. 24th...any last comments before I give them a call? I'm surprised more people haven't jumped on this...are there any better deals for broadband right now?
