Nice. Where were those taken?

First set reminded me of Ireland. Second set made me think west coast of Scotland due to the more dramatic transition to ocean and the Tarn. The comment about deportation made me think west coast of central america. So I don't know

It's Sao Miguel island in the Azores. Pretty crazy young volcanic terrain with climate that supports odd things like conifers and palm trees growing side by side along with thousands of blue hydrangea bushes

There are tons of Portuguese in the greater Boston and New Bedford areas ... a guy I know got kicked out a few months back so met up with him and we ran into like three other New England deportees.

Oh good I was close because my guesses involved land that was close to the ocean. GJ me!

Sunset in the backyard

That's some bokeh. My Pixel XL used to amaze me and it's still a great camera if it's the only camera you've got, but I've gotten into the habit of walking around with my camera and a small 50mm lens for the low-light performance and bokeh:

Love is in the air…

Rosy-faced lovebirds, feral parrots in Scottsdale, AZ. The lovebirds, natives of southwestern Africa, have established a feral colony in the Phoenix area. A 2010 census counted nearly a thousand of the birds. The pics above were taken in a shopping center parking lot.
