Nafets, just gave you a 10 for having logged back on at 5:10 am on that fateful day in October of '99 and for having the great good sense and restraint to have posted less than 300 times since then!

Folks, shoot this man a 10!

Considering I lurked for 3 years before signing up for the forums and even now after 2 years or so on the board I only have around 400 posts... I'm pretty sure I'm unknown. :D

Ah! one of my very favorite AGN and local traders of all time! How are you doing? :)

Speaking of AGN,I can remember many a day cursing that damn golffreak and wondering if the guy ever had to eat or go to the bathroom cause he seemed to always beat me to hardware I wanted!:)

What was funny was I liked the guy and we even tried several times to trade together just to say that we had, lol, never worked,we were always in competition to buy the same hardware:)

Oct 99 was a quarter-end close right after the company I worked for then just completed a major divestiture and acquisition, so I didn't get around to rejoining until November (I was the SBU Controller and was working 18 hour days with no real time to spend time at places like here). I was around on the pre-fusetalk Anandtech. I know for sure right around the WMC days but I remember being a member a little earlier. I was on AGN3D as well, and old age is messing with my memory, so I'm not too sure.

At least I was able to get the same username I had used in the past.

Lurked for over a year before joining.
Became involved due to HD and DC forums.
Had to actually join up when I started having decent RC64 output for Team Anandtech

Geez.....all these new faces! I feel like an old fart. Wait a minute....I AM old! My birthday was last Friday and I turned 28. GAH! (Here's a pic of my birthday present from my boyfriend. We named him Rocco.) <---------- Shameless cute doggy plug

So...... Any "old timers" around?

Ah, the name change. Why not Wrigley? I didn't read the other thread thoroughly.

He wasn't really responding to the name Wrigley. :( I asked at Petsmart about their dog obedience classes and she asked me if he was even responding to his name. When I told her that he wasn't, she said that dogs that go through what he did (He was a stray, then adopted. Then, his owners had to move to the city and weren't allowed pets. So, they brought him back to the Humane Society. :( ) will disassociate themselves from the name they were given. (I never heard that before, but I thought there might be merit to it.) She suggested changing his name. So.......we changed his name to Rocco and he seems to be responding to the new name very well. :) Also, we took him to his first vet visit today. Aside from the initial jitters, he was a champ. He didn't flinch when they drew his blood or gave him a shot. They also said that he is very healthy. :D Woohoo!

I had it, but then my cell phone freaked out and ate all the numbers I had stored in there. Feel free to email it to me, kitten.
