We know what irony is. I think you don't know what strange or funny is.
It's strange that a security guard finds two people banging on one's desk.
If that's not strange to you, I'd like to come work where you work.

Whatever, it's ironic to me.
Moving on.
VP is now "suspended pending further investigation" and the manager is not in work today as far as I know. Likely also the same thing, although she's much more likely to get her job back, but likely with a demotion.
VP is likely screwed.
It's a no smooooooking sign, on your cigarette break.
Also, don't security guards usually contract from security companies? That would make it hard to be fired directly by a VP. He would have to call the security company and request a replacement, which would muddy the waters as far as wrongful termination.
Is there a video?
Find out if there is a video.
Nope directly hired by us.
Guy is in his late 50s. Chick is.. Meh.
I know you're desperate rudeguy.. But do you really want to see that?!?!?
Nope directly hired by us.
Screwed for the screw he got and the one he tried to give. And she can screw her way back into her job.VP is now "suspended pending further investigation" and the manager is not in work today as far as I know. Likely also the same thing, although she's much more likely to get her job back, but likely with a demotion.
VP is likely screwed.
The VP of Human Resources got caught by a security guard last week banging the manager of HR on his office desk late one night.
Whatever, it's ironic to me.
Well then.....isn't that just like a traffic jam when you are already late???
I think you've made it clear that you don't know what irony is. The New York Times style guide says:
"The loose use of irony and ironically, to mean an incongruous turn of events, is trite. Not every coincidence, curiosity, oddity and paradox is an irony, even loosely."
The part that you referenced as irony is really just hypocrisy or an abuse of power.
The guard should have been like "I see noth eeng. NOTH EENG!" before waddling out the door.
Whatever, it's ironic to me.

You're a fucking moron. I know what you're thinking, but "fucking moron" means something different to me!
Maybe someone should write a book that defines words and unequivocates their meanings.
Small world. I just heard about this rumor today at work.
never stick your pen in the company ink
I think the irony is supposed to be in the HR part, which I sort of get. They're supposed to be the arbiters of good behavior. I'm not sure if its irony or just hypocrisy.
It's like 10,000 spoons, when all you need is a knife.
