AT mobo fits Mini tower case?

Does a normal size AT motherboard like the pcchips m598 socket7 board fit in mini tower cases? I don't want to squeeze anything really tight, so is it supposed to fit into a mini tower case? Are all AT motherboards supposed to be compatible with mini towers?

How many expansion slots do you have?How many PCIslot sare on the back?If they are the same then it should be alright.

If not get a good hack saw and cut the MB in half.( this process is sure ti fit but could cause slower speed and a slight electrical problem..........

It has 3 PCIs, 2 ISAs. It's a square board 22cm by 22cm. I think that's the normal AT. Should it fit? (are all AT boards designed originally to fit AT, babyAT cases?

Baby AT is not necessarilly just the "Height" of the board (Length of board perpendicular to slots) it also (maybe more-so) is the width (as measured in parallel to the slots).

In my experience, a FullSized AT board would take a lot of space in width-- maybe twice as much as a standard AT motherboard. I don't think I've seen any AT Boards that are too tall to fit into a Baby AT Case, but they might be too wide. I've never played with baby AT myself, so, I might be wrong about the height issue.

I have a Tyan Tsunami s1830 (Slot1 BX Board)-- it is fullsize AT motherboard. It goes from the back of the case to the front of the case in width (and it's mounted in a full AT tower case). A lot of medium cases the drive bays would interfere with the installation of this board (they'ed block the memory sockets). I know it wouldn't fit into most medium cases and certainly not any mini-cases.

That said, most mini-AT (not sure if "Baby" is the same thing) cases will take standard sized AT motherboards. Sometimes the fit is a bit tight and you have to put on Memory or CPU in a certain order (or they might be blocked by the powersupply or drive cages) but they can be made to fit if you take your time assembling.
