Where the heck was this? I've honestly never seen a USPS worker that out if shape. Ever.

Is guess it's all the walking, with the residential routes around here. They'll park on the corner, grab the bag, and do the surrounding couple blocks.

Our local USPS is mandating that every residential address have a box on the street beginning 2015. :(

The regular USPS guy for my area is HUGE. I mean like 450+lbs. You can tell when he is the one delivering the mail and not someone else because his mail truck is lopsided.

Well, put your mailbox on the street like normal people. The real lazy fucks are the homeowners that don't want to walk to the street for their mail and think it should be delivered to their porch. Fuck you.

If you're in a suburban area, at least that's understandable. It'll make mail and small package delivery faster which saves money. It's basically a cost cutting measure.

This fat woman...I don't know what to say, that's just pure laziness.

Fattest postie I've ever seen.

I like how people are genuinely shocked when they come across a lazy civil servant for the first time. Wait until you get a job that has you dealing with them on a daily basis. This is more the norm than the exception.

According to Reddit, she's not wearing a uniform because she's a new employee and hasn't received one yet.

They might be having a hard time getting together enough fabric.

Yes, she's a fatty and should've walked.

But it's not like she starting tearing up the yard doing burn outs. Outrage not found.

all the postal works that have delivered to my house look like they could run triathlons and have the calves of someone who climbs mt everest everyday.

the neighborhood i live in now has a walking guy. our mailbox right in front of our porch. everywhere else i lived we had a mailbox right at the street.

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night nor curbs nor manicured lawns stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds.

The USPS is proud to present to you its new "Door to Door" service!*

*What? We didn't say anything about HOW we get your package from door to door.

It's a perfect example of why monopolies are bad. You get lazy workers, and shitty service. Where ya gonna go if you aren't happy with the government's performance?

The postal workers around here are pretty good, The service is good, they seem to be in better shape than the average American, but not by a tremendous amount.

My Dad has emphysema with a 40' air hose and my Mom uses a walker.:colbert:

Otherwise, yes. We just drive up to ours on the wrong side of the street.:D
