Looks like I don't stand a chance when people play games like TMNT and NCAA.

Yea, there are a ton of easy 1000pt games. Kinda makes the challenge a joke though its all fair game. I'm playing Lost Odyssey and with a week left there is no chance of me winning this thing. No big deal though as I didn't expect to win this playing a rpg! Maybe next time some games that are ultra easy 1000pt games (ie: tmnt) shouldn't be allowed much like Avatar.

There's virtually no way to make it completely fair unless you get people who want to agree to a white list of a few specific titles as opposed to just blacklisting the easy ones. And to do that everyone would need access to the same games AND have never played them before.

Admittedly, I did polish off the last 300 points of Madden for this contest, but I'll be darned if anyone tries to tell me that beating Call of Duty 2 on Veteran was easy. Even so, as ducci eloquently put in a XBL message, I have way more time than most everyone else because I'm "working from home". :p

Speaking of which, time to go get the lead back...

In my defense, I'm not playing games I don't want to just for the points. I traded the Darkness for TMNT and I totally feel that I got the better end of the deal. And I'm a big Madden fan and I've found that NCAA is the best football game on the 360 so far.

That said, I have Madden 06 sitting on my desk, but I'm not going to play it for this contest. But keeping up with CKRanger is tough. I can see he's motivated after the last-minute buzzer-beater from the last contest.

FYI, I just got the prize from the first challenge in the mail today - the $20 Amazon gift card was sent via postal mail, and it's in card form. I didn't know Amazon even offered that. Regardless, just figured I'd let you guys know.

I have this feeling that I am in for a sniping... it's too quiet....

Will someone jump in with 3,000 points stored up and win it? We shall see... I think I am done gaining points for this contest - can't miss Breaking Bad tonight, and then want to go to sleep early.

CKRanger, it's been fun, man. Superman Returns? You now lose all ability to criticize TMNT. Ha.

I lost the contest after the first couple of days and seeing those crazy scores. On the fourth day I was in third place but behind by like 1500 points... LOL. Last time I'm joining one of these contests. :p

You can use Superman Returns to justify yourself if it makes you feel better, but I started playing it on Friday (and will continue to play it after the contest because I'm a big Superman fan) after I lost all interest in the contest. That was about the time when I saw someone obviously using a guide to cherrypick a 350gp achievement in about a half an hour while I was, you know, actually playing the games. I didn't even know 350 point achievements existed. After that I knew that any hope I had of winning was foolish because if you were down today there was no chance in hell that copy of Madden 06 "sitting on your desk" wasn't going to come out if you needed it to win.

While back in Philadelphia this weekend I could have raided my brother's 360 collection to get 1000+ easy points, but I thought I'd take more time to enjoy things like picking out my wedding cake and playing Rock Band with my family.

Wow.... where did this come from?

I really had no intention of playing Madden 06. I like to win, but moreso I wanted this to be a friendly competition. Yea, I used a guide to get the 350 point achievement, but is that really a big deal? Like TMNT and NCAA, I did not buy the game for the sole purpose of this achievement contest (though it didn't hurt) - I wanted to play, and will continue to play the game. There was a deal for it on CAG so I grabbed it. I imagine you did the same on Amazon with Superman and Just Cause. I honestly did not even know of the 350 point achievement, or even look at the achievement list, until after I bought the game. When I saw it was there, of course I took advantage of it.

If me winning is going to cause this kind of animosity, if I win, I forfeit the gift card and I'll send you the code when I get it. Seriously. It's not that big of a deal.

Though I may be getting ahead of myself as there's still 3 hours.

Once I read that someone was playing TMNT, I abandoned all plans of actually trying. I don't have any "easy point" games like that.
