Pretty accurate article. Few of these have been parroted by posters here.

By embracing every single tweet or whisper as yet another piece of full-proof evidence of just how terrible Republicans are, Democrats run the risk of appearing like the boy who cried wolf to the public -- and in the process taking some steam out of the very legitimate questions they are asking about the Trump administration.

Last paragraph and pretty true. And exactly what happened in this thread by the OP. Also happens to many other posters on these forums. There are plenty of legitimate and factual things to be upset about with the Trump admin, and with Trump. Believing everything you read, regurgitating and spreading it, is not helping. It in fact hurts them more than it helps.

Believing that Trump himself ordered this is just silly with zero proof. Even if the original article to be believed, which is highly suspect, it does not say Trump ordered it. Yet that is what the OP claims, that "by order of Trump", which is a lie, and misleading. Yet he has not fixed it, nor has it been otherwise changed. The original link has been updated today with a response from the FDA as well. Going out and trolling for any negative news about Trump, without attempting to make sure it is accurate, or posting accurately himself, Amused looks foolish. So do the posters who followed suit.

While I don't disagree, the new administration literally coined the term alt-fact to convey outright lies....so par for the course in some cases is bound to happen

Some people will give up an last shred of integrity and dignity in order to delegitimize the current administration with Nazi style propaganda. I guess their excuse is "I'm just following orders". You are correct about Trump having several real and factual idiot moments and doesn't need extra help looking foolish at times. I and the rest of the sane, rational people should be concerned about the monumental effort trying to bypass the democratic process of the US from the MSM, Hollywood, the super wealthy, violent groups, and foreign nationals financed by their home countries.

Strange, I've not furthered any of those stories, and this story isn't listed.

Meanwhile, Snopes is calling this denial suspicious. And I am too, because no one has denied the email, or called it fake. Why is that?

Welcome to the post fact world, where Trump can have someone tell an agency something, a memo is sent out via email, the email is leaked, an FDA official is sent out and told to say "nuh uh!" and nobody knows what to believe because our administration is about as honest as a used car salesman and half as sane.

Why is no one saying the leaked email is fake? Why is no one denying the email?

The wording is very specific and it avoids any and all explanation of the email memo. For a reason.

Even the level headed, anti-conspiracy theory Snopes calls it suspicious.

Lol!
Threads like this are illustrative of how this place has just devolved into a cesspool of crackpots.

Welcome to Orwell's 1984: "The reason for the change is that a decision from the current administration administrative officials has requested that all monitors, under our control, on the White Oak Campus, display FOX news," the email reads.

The creeping tide of fascism becomes clearer and more evident. It appears we now have a state endorsed News Source.

more fake news and crying wolf BS from you. there should be infractions for doing this.

No its not strange, I never said that you did. I used the article as an example of what you're doing. Then stated that people here (didnt say you) made the same claims on these forums as some of those points.

Meanwhile, there is no actual evidence that this came from "order of Trump", like you stated. Not even in your original link does it say that it came from Trump. Yet you make that claim. That is misleading, and a lie.

You like to mention facts, yet you can't use them yourself. Instead of admitting your mistake, you're doubling down. Like Trump does. Yet you mock him for it, and you're doing the same thing, being a hypocrite.

The author of the article is not a friend of Trump or Repub, if you read the other opinion pieces they write for CNN. This article is dead on, and pointed at you. The last paragraph especially. There are many things to legitimately be upset with Trump and blame him over, claiming he demanded that they change the channel in this instance is not one of them. Stick to the facts. Just like the article advises. You're too blinded by your hate to see the light, thats sad. Your title is factually wrong, which is against the rules here.

You're obviously not going to admit your mistake, and I am done pointing it out to you.

I would just like to say that this is not all that far fetched.

I work in a gov office. We do have TVs in our break rooms. They are mandated to be set to news channels.

We get an odd package from our cable company that only delivers a few channels, like Fox News, CNN and a few local channels (plus the weather channel).

For a while, our "Mission Support" section would come in daily, turn on the TV, tune to Fox News and take the remote with them. It wasn't until someone from the office purchased a cheap universal remote that we could change channels.

Most days we still come in and it's set to Fox News. I think that is just the preference of the lady who turns it on in the morning.

I always just change it to the Weather Channel and call it a day. No controversy there.
We do get local channels though, so some people put on The Price is Right, or soap operas. Anything is better than always being at RED ALERT.

But how are people supposed to know just how big of a victim they are because of America-hating liberals if they don't get screamed at about it from Fox?
