AT COD4 game night (360)

I've posted in the COD4 thread about getting some games going similar to the Halo3 custom games night.

Ok, let's try to get this started on Tuesday nights starting January 1, 2008. I know it's a holiday, but I'll be on. Anyone that wants to play can show up.


We could set up a couple of nights over the next week and a half if there is any interest. I'll be on vacation and will definitely be playing.

9:00pm EST. 10 PM EST would probably be ok also, but I like to get to bed by 11:00pm. I just figure that 9:00pm would give about 2 hours to play.

If everyone would rather do it on the weekends where we can play a bit later and get more of the west coast people in, that is fine also.

Yeah because of my baby, I can't really play until 9pm AZ time. If you guys roll on the weekend sometime, I'll try to join as long as it is late.

That's the beauty of an integrated friends list with Live. Constant updated states of what your friends are doing and what they are playing, along with cross game invites and messages make it easy to hook up with your friends quickly no matter what game you are playing.

Just add me to your friends list I'll try to get everyone that posts in this thread onto my friends list and will send out invites on the night we decide to do it.

So far it's looking it will be on a Tuesday or Thursday, unless more people would rather do it on the weekend.

I'll wait a bit to give more people a chance to respond, but maybe we can do it on thursday? I don't want to compete with the halo 3 thursday night games, but it seems like most of the people who are playing COD4 don't play halo 3 anymore.

that time slot sounds good to me also. Not sure if I can do it this week as friends/family stuff might get in the way.

S+D, FFA are what I usually play. Let me know what games we're going to play so I can at least get to know what general strategies I need to do to help my team. I like to run and gun but I guess I can camp if the game type calls for it

Well I usually play a lot of different things. Headquarters, domination, team deathmatch.

How about we just try a few of them and see which one we like the most?

Well then I'm going to go ahead and set it for Thursday, 9 PM EST.

haha actually since you guys may not play just the new maps I can play with you on Thursdays still.

And maybe if we do it another night you might be able to join in the COD4 games.

Thursdays are for halo custom games and are full of win and fun. I would be more than happy to provide my noobness to all in COD4 on another night.

Don't usurp blurredvision. Us old fockers work on a schedule, don't fubar our schedule.

I'm fine with playing some CoD4 on Tuesday. It being the holiday season, you probably won't be able to get any decent CoD game started for a couple of weeks....ditto for Halo 3 Thursday night matches.

Nah not playing on Wednesdays. I think we are going to be playing on Tuesdays.

Next Tuesday isn't going to work because it's Christmas.

Does anyone want to try to play some this coming weekend? (Sat/Sun) we can start at 9:00pm EST or later, and play later.

Even though it's the day after new years, we can start trying to play on Tuesdays on January 1. If no one shows up, that's fine. But I'll be on for whoever does.
