I scraped the back of my hand on the door frame and ripped the healing scab off the reaction to a spider bite.
My cheeseburger dripped on my shirt.
Tried to install Vista Ult on a spare computer but it wouldn't take the retail key.
And now I'm sitting here waiting for ~300gb to move across a 100mbit network.

Yesterday A major design flaw for a big project that I had helped to work on was discovered. Potentially several hundred man hours of work right in the crapper (later yesterday afternoon after I came up with some solutions, I met with the mainfraim programmers and we discussed our options. More red tape for me and some emergency code changes. We will be about 2 weeks behind schedule. Another developer coded it, but it was very buggy, so I have fixed major bugs on two separate occasions since it's gone "live." Now we are getting "clean" data, but missing about a million records every day. ugh) .. Also, a new batch job I wrote couldn't authenticate properly. We figured it out pretty quickly, but I had been working on the project for several months, and it was the "crunch time" when it all went haywire.

Pretty much I was worried that I might be demoted to the whipping boy yesterday ...

Yesterday? Hmmm, nothing bad happened. Oh well I guess during our dart match I hit a hat trick but wasn't watching the score and I ended up fucking busting (had 122 points before hat trick). But we did win the match in the final game, and I threw the winning dart (what what).

Both my wife and I rideshare to work together. The wifey drops me off at work and she drives another 2 miles to her job. Yesterday afternoon 15min before my wife and I are done with the day, she calls. She tells me that she needs to work OT and I need to find some way to pick up the truck and pick up our son. I told her I would just walk to her job. I figured i'd take 45 to make the walk. So when it's time for me to go, I start walking to her job. 40 minutes into my trip and I can see the parking lot of her job, she calls me. She lets me know that she's leaving work to pick me up so I can take her back to her job and take the truck to pick up our son :|

WTF was the point in making me walk 40 min if you were going to pick me up anyways!?

Yeah. I heard that too in my cubicle in China Basin.

Two guys could easily carry it off, it's a DLP so it's relatively light.

[edit] Oh, and they also took all the remotes to all my stuff (receiver, DVD, PS3, TV, Tivo), but they left the PS3 wireless controller sitting next to them.

Tuesday while I was at work. Got home to find my front door unlocked and my kitchen door wide open (although the garage door was closed). They had dumped out the peanuts from the box the PS3 came in and were filling it up with all of my bootleg hi-def movies that were on some shelves in the living room. They kicked in my patio door and screwed up the gates to my back yard so I've got to get those fixed as well. :( I do have insurance so at least that's something... my sense of security is pretty much destroyed though. :(
