not that i'm not behind bush or being some sort of sideline quarterback or anything.. i just wish we had a president that was more emotional about this. like Roosevelt or JFK.. someone who will get ANGRY or show more emotion. I know that Bush is probably mad as hell but he's certainly not showing it. maybe it's just me.. but i wish we had someone like JFK in office.

Man. I'm going against Hillary in the other thread, and being labeled by Red a partisan....

Anyway.

Bush is doing more than a kickass job with the situation. JFK? Please. Of couse there's no proof, but our own people killed him.

Anyway, I think your post is just flamebait, and you don't really mean it.

I don't ever remember seeing JFK cry in public. FDR talked to the nation via radio. Personally, I think the President did a fine job. He got very emotional when he clasped the fallen NY Policeman's badge, and was very stern in his delivery. Now's not the time to second guess, now's the time to stand behind our president, IMHO.

JFK...oh please...

Does the Bay of Pigs mean anything to you, or Marilyn Monroe...

I even think he phucked up too many times during the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Didn't you see him get really emotional last week in the oval office when asked how he felt about the situation?

Plus, some people initially regarded JFK as a spoiled rich boy whose dad bought the election for him. He proved the critics wrong during the handling of the Cuban missile crisis etc.... Many people didn't have faith in Lincoln too, initially......and look what he's become. Just be patient..Bush is doing a great job so far.

dieselstation,

Were you even alive when JFK was President? Or, are you basing your opinion on flowery retrospectives and biased documentaries?

<< And another thing....Bush has a great cabinet team.....very experienced. >>

Smart too. They learned from their mistakes during Desert Storm. Hopefully when all is said and done not only will Bin Laden be dancing at the Devil's Square Dance, Saddam Hussien will be promenading with him.

God Bless America

<< Man. I'm going against Hillary in the other thread, and being labeled by Red a partisan.... >>

Stop whining!!!

Bush is our president and I support him. He and his cabinet will do the right thing and lead us through this dark moment.

JFK? Ulysses S. Grant would be better but he is taking a long rest at 125th Street and Riverside Drive by the picturesque Hudson River.

HowardStern,

The pic was funny the first 20 or so times you posted it. Now, it's just pollution.
