I was cleaning out some boxes today and found my old ASVAB score report.

Military Careers Score: 6
Military Entrance Score (AFQT): 95

Are these any good? What scores have you guys got on this test?

A simple test....for the military !

It's not just for the military. It helps show you what you're good at in general and what you aren't. Taking the ASVAB doesn't mean you have to join the military so taking it can help you get direction in life that you otherwise lack.

I took the asvab test once when i was in 10th grade or so. I remember scoring either a 97 or 98. I thought the test was extreamily easy except for the car questions. 😱
 
Oh and when my ex-gf's brother took his ASVAB for the USAF they told him to join the Army. So he signed up for the Army and punked out at the last minute.

Your ASVAB scores determine what jobs you will qualify for in the military. 🙂

Going through there now.

It looks like the Air Force, Army, and Marines have stupidly low standards. I am apparently over 200% qualified for most of their jobs.

Going through the Navy page now as their standards look more reasonable.
 
I took it back in highschool...scored very highly on the math and clerical/logical parts of it, a bit above average on the mechanical parts. Never did anything with it past that, although the AF called me pretty often for the few years after it.

Yup... still qualified for all of the Navy jobs, except for the ones involving anything Nuclear, I don't know what the NAPT is (it's not on my score report.) Although whatever it is I'm sure I can score over 30~ on it to make me qualified for those too. (Considering I scored 63 in Auto and Shop -- which just happens to be my main strength) :roll:
 
If I recall I took it to get out of class for three hours or so 😛...

I think I got like a 98 or 99? They kept hounding me to join the military :/

I took the tests this past week. Got a 97 on the ASVAB. They told me I can pretty much do anything I want to in the Air Force.

I was sworn in on Thursday, and I'm now officially in the United States Air Force!

I don't know about the navy but the Air Force should be just as tough as the navy if not harder to get into.

I'm going in as an E-2 since I already have some college under my belt. Looking to go into Electronic/Information Warfare.

I'm totally psyched now, and I'm ready to go kick some ass when I go to BMT in April.
