ASVAB or AFOQT preparation?

Can anyone recommend a good preparation book for the AFOQT?

Don't know about the AFOQT, but the ASVAB was cake. I scored an 88 without trying, and that was also with 2 of the segments not included (so I'm not sure if the total score was adjusted due to that).

Granted, I never study for those kinds of tests. No true prep for the ACT, none for the Ohio test in high school... but then again, I got away with that shit in high school. I never applied myself back then, I just did... and did well.

I'm not so good with standardized tests. My verbal stinks and math is ok. 490 and 630 respectively on the SAT. So that's why I want to study for it. Plus on the AFOQT there are some specific navigation/instrumental questions.

I brushed up on my math (haven't had any since high school) in the 24 hrs preceding the ASVAB and scored a 99. It's not a difficult test at all. I've heard the AFOQT is harder.

I took it just for fun, and just about aced it.

ASVAB is an aptitude test. They're not testing your knowledge so much as your capability to learn/comprehend. The only part of that whole test that I had to have any brain cells for was when they took the patterned box apart and asked which one it was.
