Asus VS. Intel?

My friend keeps telling me that Asus is better but I don't know. Will you please help me with this? I'm going to be getting a new computer for business. Under budget of $300 please.
 
Asus makes motherboards (for the most part) for AMD and Intel. Did you mean AMD vs Intel ? And what are the requirements ? What parts are required ? I display or not ? Most likely at $300 you will be restricted by price more than anything, and since in general at the low end, AMD is a better value, you will probably end up in that direction, however for a business box in general, A dell may be the only way to go, at least a possibility.
 
Go Intel unless you wanna overclock or need features Intel boards don't offer.

P.S. ASUS boards may be cheaper, I dunno just an assumption.
