Ever since returning to the DIY fold, and collecting data about the second-line area I tend to work in (and so save against the high costs of the bleeding edge), I've been seeing that 2% to 5% gains of dual channel for NF2 as being minimal -- yesterday, I was doing some research on the Epox 8RDA that I'm putting into a system for a Grand-kid of mine, when I backtracked to some old articles here on AT.
According to the second of three that I read through, there were some areas in which the NF2 chipset got 25-30% bonuses from dual channel compared to single. The particular processes don't happen to involve any use I personally have for a PC, so I don't get to benefit from more than the well-publicized small improvements, but on my HTPC machine, which is also NF2 (Gigbyte MB), I have dual channel active, because what the heck, a 4% gain is better than no gain at all.
