I recently purchased the Asus TV Tuner Card, and have been very satisfied with its quality. The only thing that I am not so fond of is the program that it uses to view and capture TV video. I was wondering if there are any alternatives out there.

Thanks,

I've got the same question, just a different card.

I'm using a Nvidia Ti4200 w/VIVO and want some software to use with it. Haven't tried PowerVCR though, so I'll try that now.

I have the asus tv tuner and hated powervcrII, I switched to showshifter (www.showshifter.com). There's no monthly fee (yet) and that appealed to me. Unfortunately, there is no true integrated programming guide (uses titantv.com). They are working on it, but I think once that happens they will start charging monthly fees due to licensing cots of the programming schedules.
