Hmm.. only the champagne colored one... Interesting though... no tax in CA so quite tempting.
 
I have a buyer for my OG 32GB TF-101 and have the prime on order.

For those that need USB but do not want to buy the keyboard Asus made a dongle that is already for sale and works on both pads, they also made another dongle that reads SD cards. I have that on order for $15. I currently have the keyboard and love it since it turned my little pad into a netbook while I was traveling and increased my storage, battery life and I use my micro mouse with it and it is awesome.

Wifi issues? Didn't Anands review unithave this. I guess it wasn't a faulty unit after all.

Looks very good, but it would have to be significantly better than the iPad 2 for me to consider it. Im waiting to see what the iPad 3 is like, not to mention next gen SOCs from other manufacturers.

I guess the rumored 12/19/11 release date was wrong.

Called J and R still unavailable, hinted at maybe as late as January.
Wanted to cancel one of my orders (broke down and got my daughter the 10.1 Galaxy tab instead) was told any change in the order would put me at the back of the line (>300 pre-ordred).

Will wait.
 
I love my Transformer. Is it worth upgrading to the Prime? It's not a small price increase. I haven't checked OG Transformer used prices but I am guessing at least $200-300 needs to be thrown in to get Prime.
 
Amazon sent me an email they can now be ordered again. 4-7 week delivery 🙂

Asus missed the Xmas window, so they won't get my money for a while, if ever on that one.
 
Canceled mine (J&R) today.
Screw Asus on this one for missing out big time during the Holidays.
Pretty sure Asus will be licking its wound on this timing for a while.
 
Just bought mine today at MicroCenter (St Louis area) for $449+tax.
Will the ICS update be automatic when the tablet is on line?

Interesting turn around? 😛

Played with a Transformer Prime friday night, and I have to say, I was impressed. Its very snappy, and seems to have very solid battery life. The display unit was at a nearly 30 hours, pretty solid.

I was looking at the Galaxy Tab 8.9 for its lightness and portability, but the Prime blows it out of the water, has an sd card slot, and doesn't have TouchWiz bogging it down.
 
after a couple of false starts I thought I would never buy it but...
then MC came to the rescue, $449 + tax I guess that will make it up for what happened before xmas.

That's basically stock browser with user agent toggle, gesture control, and couple other features added. Stock with added functionality.
