Hard to tell how sensible these are without either a personal hands-on or at least some solid size/weight numbers.

If only I didn't already buy a Zenbook! :p Although, I'd be tempted to wait for Haswell for this thing. I'd imagine Haswell's push for improved power usage would help this thing's idle times tremendously, which is something that we almost expect from tablets these days. I know that I get really annoyed with my Android tablet (ASUS TF300) because the darned thing is always dead whenever I want to use it. My iPad always has at least some juice in the tank whenever I pick it up.

Haven't had a chance to read that one myself, just sort of saw it yesterday. But at a quick glance it has size and weight figures in it.

I just glanced through it quickly, but isn't that just for the Vivo Tab RT?

Entirely possible. As I said, I just glanced at it rather quickly, saw a chart that included weight and dimensions, but not entirely sure what exactly it was measuring.

I'd be very curious in the Transformer Book. I do dislike the concept that, coupled with keyboard dock, it looks like an ungainly beast that should otherwise fit in the "ultra portable" category.

If it's got an attractive price -- no more than the average price for Ultrabooks, please and thank you... preferably under $1000 for $900-1000 Ultrabook performance -- I might have to think about it more than I rightfully should. More importantly, it will depend on just how well the competition approaches the convertible concept. I could easily see myself taking a full Windows 8 (not Win RT) tablet around, sticking to the Metro apps, and keeping it coupled with keyboard when I know I'll want to make use of the full Windows desktop experience and the whole catalog available for x86.
