This is the transformer tf 300 which is a big deal and should be mentioned in the op, transformer to me means the older brown model with a dual core aka tf100. The tf300 is the tegra 3 quad core

Low resolution on this tablet is a real bummer.
If you need the higher resolution then get the nexus 10. This is a great value tablet. It is not a perfect tablet by any means but it was always designed to be the low price point without utterly sucking.

Now a days this is the best tablets for each prices if you are going Android.
  • $200 to $250, 16 or 32gb Nexus 7
  • $300 Asus Transformer TF300. 10 inch with the same resolution as the Nexus 7 (but lower ppi due to bigger size), Tegra 3 just like the Nexus 7 (even at the same ghz). Micro SD and HDMI. You can buy the dock if you want. Also while not as fast on updates as the nexus asus has been real good about updating their older products, TF101 got ICS in a timely update and the TF200 and above all got jelly bean.
  • $400 to $500 Nexus 10 in 16 or 32gb
  • $500 if you can't live without expandable storage then the Asus Transformer TF700 instead of the Nexus 10
That said the upcomming Ipad Mini and the Ipad 4 are also nice pieces of hardware at good prices. I am also looking forward to the intel atom tablets running windows 8.

"Card Reader: Micro SD Card Reader"
What's the biggest card it will take?

32gb officially since officially it is listed as an SDHC port

many people though have been 64gb to work (so if you buy a 64gb make sure it is easy to return with some place like amazon just in case.)
