Asus Thermal Paste + E7200

I recently purchased an ASUS Silent Knight AL CPU cooler for my Intel E7200 (2.53GHz) processor. I wanted to know if the thermal paste that came along with the ASUS Silent Knight cooler is any good or not? Should I go ahead and use it on my CPU or should I invest in a different thermal paste?

TIA

arctic silver ftw

That being said the ASUS thermal paste might be good. I'd say give it a shot and if it works to your liking woot, if not buy some arctic silver.

Most likely it's good enough to be within 1-3 degrees Celcius of the well-known pastes. The cooler and paste will be much better than the stock crap.

Awrite, thanks for the help! I'll try the thermal paste which came with the Silent Knight itself. 🙂
