Asus SLI experience

Does anyone have any experience of can direct me to a review of the Asus A8N SLI (non-deluxe or premium) board? I seem only be able to locate reviews for the deluxe model.

Monarch was building a barebones for me (cheaper then building it myself with thier 10% amex discount) and I had originally put together a system with a DFI ultra-D and 2x1024 Patriot ram, however after 2 weeks of testing, Monarch says the ram doesn't work with that motherboard and offered to swtich the ultra-D for the Asus board. I'm not particularly interested in SLI, but I've always liked Asus for my boards.

Interestingly enough, they did say they had no problems using the Corsair Value Series ram (their bench stuff) although I've read where many others have had problems here.
Odd.

Anyway, if anyone has any insight I'd appreciate it.

No reviews I can remember, but my friend "Bert" just got one over spring break. He installed and configured it in less time than it took to play 2 rounds of de_dust and de_aztec (I guess that doesn't apply in your situation). He also added a RAID array and began overclocking later that night, but I don't know how far he went. As for stability, AOL Instant Messenger says he's been online for 16 days. Nothing at all that I've said is really useful though. Go with your gut feeling.

Been using the Asus A8N SLI in conjuntion with AMD64 3500+ and Corsair Value Select RAMs for a little over three months without a single problem.

This system is running stably, mildly overclocked at 220FSB (440MHz dual channel) at 1:1

The CPU can actually reach 2585MHz stable, but the RAMs will only reach 220MHz.

My only gripe's that this mobo only has one GLAN port, and 4 SATA connectors,

compared to the A8N-SLI Deluxe's 2 GLAN ports and 8 SATA connectors
