Asus sli compatibility

I recently have been having a major problem with my new PC. I started a thread here:

Basically, I was having problems with my pc going extremely slow and freezing. This would happen many times a day. I ran memtest and after the first pass got over 200 errors. I then tried running memtest on a different system using the same ram and got no errors. I then used diff ram on the new system ran memtest and got no problems again.

I am completely confused. On my older system (which I am using now) its an Asus a7v266-e. I originally bought crucial RAM for it, but for some reason, I could not set the cpu to its max speed, so I RMA'ed the RAM and got some samsung.

Does anyone have any advice for me? I dont know what my next step should be and really need some help. If this is confusing to anyone please ask and I will try to clarify. Thanks alot.

I also checked Asus and crucial, and both websites say they support each other. One must have a slight defect. What would it be best todo?
 
I was able to see the other thread. Your system is almost the same as mine, except for the power supply.
I've had no problems with my Crucial ballistix ram. I'd give a try at calling Asus support up, if you can.
