Have a ASUS RT-N16 (TOMATO Installed) wireless router in the basement.
Have a ROKU and XTREAMER in the living room which is on the second floor. These connect via wirless to the ASUS RT-N16
When I watch live tv there are buffering issues on both ROKU and the XTREAMER .

Bought another ASUS RT-N16 to use as a bridge. The idea is this new router will access the wireless signal from the basement router and I can connect the ROKU and XTREAMER to the LAN ports on the new router.
I am hoping this will clear the buffering issues.

I tried the bridge tab to setup the bridge but it does not work.
While setting up the bridge should the AP Mode be "WDS Only" or Hybrid?
Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

I can't speak to the bridging, but I'm doubting that will solve your problem since the (presumably wireless) bottleneck still exists between you and the content, unless the problem is moving data from the "ROKU" to the "XTREAMER," which will be remedied. I don't know because I have no idea what either of those devices are ;)

Thanks darkewaffle.

ROKU and XTREAMER are just contet streaming devices.
I watch internet content on TV using these devices.
I am trying to setup a bridge to see if it makes any difference.
Can you tell me how to setup a bridge using an RT-N16? searched on google but could not find any insrructions.
