Wow, that is a lot of router! I just now received a Netgear R8000 that I bought used off of eBay for $44 including shipping. Tri-band AC3200 and FreshTomato compatible. It was a like-new non-working failed firmware flash unit, but it was an easy fix with a firmware upload via tftp. I had it working with factory firmware around 15 minutes after unboxing it and then upgraded it to FreshTomato. There's a few R8000's listed for cheaper on eBay, but the cheapest usually don't include the power supply and this one did (the power supply costs $15).
