Worlds fastest single card ? This is not fact at all. This is a opinion. 690 OCed or 7970 the one in this review looks sick... I think it might overtake 690 with a massive OC as fastest single card solution.
Today we test thus review the ASUS Radeon HD 7970 ROG MATRIX PLATINUM graphics card. Designed to be one of he completely customized card comes with voltage measurement points, a 20-phase VRM circuitry with supper alloy caps and chokes as well as a special capacitors added to maximize overclocking headroom, according to ASUS. The GPU is clocked at a great 1100 MHz and this is the default frequency as the card. A very nice fact as well is that the GDDR5 memory that runs at 6600 MHz effective frequency directly out of the box.
