Well my "Vengeance-ators" came in today.
They definitely have a cheaper feel to them com to Dominators but should it really matter? (pcb is green rather than black, etc.) Hey 24GB for under 400 bucks shipped who is complaining?

They don't even post at 9-9-9-24 at 1600MHz. :( Frequency in safe mode (BIOS) comes up as 1333. Try that and it works. Possibly too much strain with six 4GB modules all at once? Hard to say.

The SPD shows 1.5V all the way through the XMP profiles so that is a first. Almost done testing them at 1200-7-7-7-20-1T also at 1.5V. If the strap fails at higher speed and I have to bring it down I can still wring out some lost performance by tightening the timings. They do run fairly cool although in a FT-02 they do have pretty decent air running over them. Probably as cool as DomGTs and definitely cooler than Ballistix. Those actually get too warm to touch if not actively cooled.

With that many modules shouldn't you be using 2T instead of 1T? Or was that more of a concern in the past.

Did not seem to matter either way.

It's a haircut performance wise from 12G at the desktop however it certainly beats using virtual memory any day!

Almost got those the other day, but the P6 chipset will most likely mean that there will only be 4 dimm slots. So I don't want to get a kit where I could only use 2/3rd of the sticks.
