Asus premium problem with ram

I ordered a computer from monarch and it came in today. I ordered 1gb which was supose to be 1 stick but they put 2 512 in the computer I already had 1gb from another computer I was going to put in it. For some reason the computer will only read 2 sticks at a time. If I put all 3 in at the time same it will only read the 2 512 sticks right now I have a 1gb stick and a 512 in it and it's reading 1500 like it should but it won't read 2gb with all 3 sticks in it. Am I missing something do I have to change some setting to get all 3 to work?

Boy, I'm digging into my foggy memory here, but I think I remember something about this in a previous post on a different forum. There is a BIOS option called MEMORY HOLE or something like that. If you turn this on, it may make it work. Hope I am not misleading you, but I do think I remember reading this. Does the ASUS post at all?

maybe your mobo slot 3 is busted.. check in bios to see if slot 3 is recognized, or with CPUZ ...

u might need to run equal timings on all ram to work well
