ASUS PC Probe spurious temperature readings

Anybody else having a problem with ASUS PCProbe giving intermitten spikes in temperature for CPU and Motherboard? They go up to 80 degrees C and last only a couple of seconds.

*P4B533-V; P4/1.6A @2400Mhz 150FSB 4:5 Ratio; BIOS v1003; PC Probe V2.17.01

Just a distraction I'd like to get fixed!

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

im using ASUS probe and im getting 45c/31c for my cpu/mobo. I am also running p4 1.6a@2431 mhz but i have a P4B533 board..not the V. Its not spiking for me though..
