ASus P5Q, RAID array not bootable

Hi all,
i recently acquired an Ausu P5Q Deluxe and 4 x 1.5TB SATA2
drives, which i would like to configure as one RAID5 set.

I can create the RAID 5 set with either 3 or 4 of the drives fine,
however it is automatically marked as non-bootable. (From within the ICH10 RAID ROM utility)

If i create a raid 0 or 1 set, it is marked as bootable.

There does not seem to be an option for setting "bootable" anywhere- so is this some kind of limitation of the RAID implementation ?

were you ever able to fix the problem.
i am using the intel matrix storage rom to create a raid 5 array for my g33-ds2r and there is a section called bootable = no. but I have no idea how to set it to yes.
it does not give me the option when i create the volume
