So here is my build sheet:

ASUS P5ND2-SLI Mobo
P4D 830 Chip
eVGA GeForce 7900GT
Intel Pro 1000MT Onboard NIC (Disabled)
Linksys WMP54GS Nic
NEC 3550 Optical (Flashed with Liggy and Dees firmware) (PATA)
WD 74GB 16mb cache Raptor boot disk (SATA 1)
WD 250GB 16MB cache RE Data disk(SATA 2)

And here is my problem, sometimes in games or even if I watch video on my desktop the sound starts to skip and stutter and the system slows to a crawl, if I can get taskmgr up (replaced by sysinternals process explorer) my cpu usage is usually pegged by the DPC (Deferred Procedure Calls) and I have tried a couple different drivers, I don't mind dropping some loot for an above board audio card but I am not sure that will fix the issue, I would like to see if others have had the same problem or knwo someone who has and have fixed it somehow, I don't need a fancy audio card which is why I am somewhat opposed to buying one plus my watercooling setup takes a lot of room up in my case and I am not sure I could fit it... so anyone got any ideas?
