Asus P5N-E nForce 650i SLI (Open Box) for $63.13 + Shipping @ Mwave

Link ($71.91 shipped Fedex Ground for me, the 2-day and 3-day options are only a couple dollars more)

Just to compare, Newegg's Open Box of this model is $88 + Shipping, and that's even a descent deal.

I ordered this board on Monday. At more than 50% off from a new retail boxed version I was expecting to get just the board without the box/cables/manual/sli bridge/etc.

Anyways, Fedex just dropped off the package and it is the full retail box w/ everything inside (even sticker). So if you are willing to trade the Asus warranty (1-year, I think?) for a 15-day Mwave return policy then this a hell of a deal! I'm tempted to buy a 2nd board.

Buy an E4300 to hold you over until the next Price Drop (sometime in the 3rd Quarter, just a couple months away).

ordered...thanks OP. These ECS freeby boards are good basic boards but I needed to get a decent OC board to go with my e4300.

I just hope I get lucky like you did and the whole retail package shows up at my door.

UPDATE (5-30-07): Just received my board. It was the retail package. It has been obviously used, but includes everything except the hd/floppy cables. It also includes a Gigabyte video card dongle that I think the previous user must be missing now.

I've ordered 3 Open Box motherboards from Mwave back when it was www.dumpinggoods.com (Mwave bought dumpinggoods.com), and 2 or 3 Open Box/Oem from Newegg, and all 5 or 6 were full retail boxed, so I think they just use that "bare board" lingo to save them incase something is missing.

Dead dead and more dead.

Anyway, usually the first couple they ship will be full boxed, after that your odds of getting just the board go up significantly.
