I'm buying a new computer and need some help. I think i will use ASUS P5N-E as mobo and Corsair Dominator TWIN2X6400C4D 2048MB. Will it work? Because Dominator have like 2,1 V and the mobo's standard is lower...
Is P5B a better choice? Not only thinking about the memory but overall...

Yea I got some 10th Anniv. D9's and I'm just waiting for a deal or news to pull the trigger.. (no cpu yet either🙂

I'm thinking it's either the P5B-Deluxe or the 680i with it's 1T. The 650i seems too new to tell...

I spent the 100 bux on a OCZ Powerstream 600w so I want to use the 8-pin eps connector!

I think I want the INTEL ICH8R instead of nvidia for my new 16mb cache raptor 74gb(thanks to AT HotDeals)..

Maybe the price of the E6600 will come to the E6400 levels this Month!!

Go with the P5N-e and a E6600.

The E6600 is on sale from Micro Center for $269.00 it is out of stock but you can order it for that price it will ship 1-21-07. If you see it for less before than just cancel and buy it. here is a link Click Me. 🙂

The P5N-E should be better, but it has caused a lot of people (myself included) huge headaches due to compatibility issues. Be forewarned that you may run into serious problems, at least in the short run, if you choose the P5N-E. See the other threads on the topic in this forum.
