Asus P5KR

This is the only thing I have been able to find on the P5KR -

Asus Continues to improve the motherboard on base of chipset intel p35. Recently this company announced the motherboard asus P5KR, which differ from Asus P5K in terms of south bridge ICH9R instead of usual ICH9. Accordingly, the regular four ports serial ATA on asus P5KR motherboard ensure the support to RAID levels 0, 1, 5 and 10. The additional controller jMicron JMB363 ensures the support as before for the parallel ATA, one internal port serial ATA and one external port eSATA .

Not sure where its features stand compared to the P5K (Premium, Deluxe).

Only 4 SATA ports are available from ICH9R (perhaps because of the same PCB design as the P5K vanilla).

It's somewhat a pointless product. The price of P5KR > that of P5K, $135. Then abit IP35 (vanilla, $140) is a much better choice.
