Asus p5gdc Deluxe bios and Sata Boot Drive

I am building a new rig and am having some problems with the sata boot drive.
Below are my spec's.

Asus P5GDc Deluxe
Intel 775 3.0 Prescot
1 Gb (2x512) Corsair twinx1024-3200c2rt ddr400
Ati X700 Pro, 256 meg ddr3 (pcie-x16)
Samsung 120 Gb Sata sp1213c (boot drive)
Nec 3500A dvd-cd burner (primary ide (pri_ide1))
Antec Sonta Case

I am not planning on any overclocking. everthing set at default options. The sytem seems to work fine, but I want to make sure everthing is working at its best config. In the bios it dectects my primary ide master = nec3500a, primary ide slave - not detected, third ide master - samsung sp1213c, remaining ide are all not detected. I have the samsung hardrive set as the 1st boot device, nec3500a as 2nd boot devise, and 1st ffloppy drive as 3rd boot divise. Under the ide configuration menu I have configure sata as (standard ide), onboard ide operate mode (enhaced mode) and the enhanced mode support on (sata mode)

As I mentioned the system boots and seems to run fine. I am hoping that all my sata drive settings are correct so as I can get the best preformace from my sata drive. Please can anybode let me know if my system is set up properly

😕hi
I cannot reply on your specific question however i am interested in the fact that you own an Asus P5GDC deluxe.
I have troubles with the built-in audio the board doesnt recognize it and states that it cannot find the device each time i try to install the drivers.
My question have you this device working properly?
Regards
