I dropped the money for this board, i guess i paid like 10 extra for the onboard wifi, but it seems that it has A LOT of trouble picking up a wifi signal. I have my laptop right here next to the desktop and my laptop is picking up my signal w/ 5/5 bars, and four or five neighbors signals with 2-4/5 bars, yet the desktop can't find any. Sometimes it will find one and then lose it not too long later. I am using the stock antenna that came with it, is that the problem? any ideas? please help!

thanks

Have you tried checking Asus's site for newer drivers? Sometimes a newer driver set can make a world of difference. I got one of those CompUSA branded Realtek 802.11g wireless cards a while back, and the drivers off the cd were horrible. You couldn't even use the device because the signal strength was awful and you'd lose connection every 1-2 minutes. I found some newer drivers online, and poof, problem cured. Card works great now!
