Wont you know when you try overclocking it? Or did you get the mobo becuase you were in a rush to have your hands on something conreo compatible and now can't sleep wondering whether you made the right decision?
There is a great saying by nelson from the simpsons, HAHA.

Not at all im not buying a conroe until the prices come way down. Im not happy with my current amd rig and my brother jumped on the c2d badwagon and is the one that ordered everythign in a rush and im going to take his old p4 to give my system an upgrade. Currently with his chip on his abit board hes got it to 3.4ghz and i was wondering if it would be able go farther. But nt on the flame anyways

I was about to get the DS3 but I found out that there are some problems that I couldn't cope with. You can't use a Raid and IDE devices simultaneously. Like when burning a dvd. There's a problem with the ram compatibility.

So I went to ZZF and ordered the Asus P5B Deluxe/WiFi-AP. Looks very promising.

I'll be getting a P5B as soon as Core 2 availability is more sane. It was actually reviewed in a recent article here. The results went something like:

Max OC of Core 2 chip on Asus P5W-DH - 4,000 MHz
Max OC of Core 2 chip on Asus P5B - 3,720 MHz

...so it overclocks well, though maybe not as well as the P5W (though that could be BIOS related, as the article suggests).

Well, the Conroe buyers guide managed a 39% overclock on an E6700 with a Tuniq tower heatsink and and increase in voltage of 0.325V. As Some1ne said, it doesn't overclock as well as the P5W-DH, but that is likely due to the 965 chipset on the P5B as opposed to the 975X on the P5W-DH.
