I seem to be having bad luck with motherboards I buy from members here on anadtech first was a Abit IP35-E random posts well I just purchased a P5B deluxe wi-fi from another member and I cannot get it to power up. the asus blue light is on. but I cannot get it to do anything. checked all PS connectors and also tried power up by shorting the power swithch pins. Is there any known problems with the Asus and my Coolermaster pure power pro 750 watt PS? i guess I willl pull it and try to post out of the case. thanks

Well I got it to power up, My Bad But now no post. could it be the ram in my signature?I have reset cmos. Still no post.

I am researching a no-post problem of my own. I have done a lot of homework. Here is a link to where I posted in the Asus forums.
If you read through, you may get some ideas on how to troubleshoot the problem.
Hope this helps. http://vip.asus.com/forum/view...page=1&SLanguage=en-us

If you pull it out of the case, you want to try booting with bare minimum, then use the process of elimination. Shut power off completely (meaning pull the wall plug as well), and do CMOS clear again. Install the CPU and make sure to use the CPU fan plug on the board. (Some ASUS board don't like it when the CPU fan is not connected) All you need is one stick of memory and a video card. (and keyboard, preferably PS/2 one)
