Asus P5B Deluxe and Crossfire?

HI, i am wondering if i can build on this motherboard or if i should just move to he P45, can i run crossfire or SLI on this board? will the cross fire be slower than the new P45 if so alot a just a small margin?, i asked about SLI because i read somewhere there was a bios hack for this board to run SLI ?

SLI is exclusive to nForce boards. P35 and P45 (and 975X/X48) are capable of CrossFire. I would avoid P35 for CrossFire purpose because there is a significant performance loss due to loss of bandwidth.

P35: x16 / x4 PCIe Gen 1
P45: x8 / x8 PCIe Gen 2

Alternatively (and preferably) X48 offers x16 / x16 lanes, both generation 2 and off the NB.

If i was only to use a single video card would any other chipset be faster than the P965 Asus P5B ?
