Only problem with the OCZ patch. If you don't have a working memory to flash the system, it's useless.

well if you have a friend with same size bios chip you can hotflash the bios on theres

The P5B-D doesn't have a BIOS chip that you can remove, so you can't hotflash.
0607 is also availabe (and probably recommended over 0605, some people had serious problems with it): http://amd.co.at/anti/asus/P5b-deluxe/bios/P5B-ASUS-Deluxe-0607.zip

I haven't tried either, but some people live dangerously

This gives me hope that my P5B vanilla may have a lower than 1 multiplier (or "higher than one" divider) soon... it has plenty of options in the other direction as well!

i can vouch for the 605 but not for the 607

asus have this habit of putting up bios and taking them down again.

607 has no log fle with it. so dont know the changes

I can vouch that the 609 bios does not have the lower then 1:1 multi. Im going to try the 607 next.
