asus p5ad2 premium will not power up

am building a new system and I went with some of Maximum PC's recommendations.

ASUS P5AD2 Premium motherboard
Intel 560 3.6Ghz CPU
Thermaltake Jungle 512 cooler
PC Power and Cooling 510 Express Deluxe PSU
4 - 512Mb Corsair DDR2 XMS2 Pro Series ram
MSI X800XT 256Mb PCI Express video card
SB Audigy 2 ZS Platinum sound card
2 - WD800 80Gb hard drives
2 - Maxtor Diamondmax 10 300Gb SATA 150 drives

When I turn on the power, everything comes on for 1 second and shuts down. I shorted the 2 pins on the power supply and plugged in just the 2 sata drives and the psu worked fine. I stripped everything out except the cpu, 1 stick of ram, still only coming on for 1 second. I checked for shorts and grounds but didn't find any. Just for the hell of it I also tried a different PSU, still the same. I rma'ed the motherboard and the new board does the same thing. I usually build my own computers and haven't had these kind of problems in the past. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It sucks looking at $2500 worth of hardware laying on my table that is just dying to run Doom 3. Thanks.
