ASUS P5AD2 Deluxe - How much Video Card can it take?

I am running a Prescott 3.4 ghz on the ASUS P5AD2 Board with 1 Gb PC-4200 RAM and currently an 256MB X700Pro video card.

I bought a new game and it won't run (I am sure you all heard about Splinter Cell: Double Agent)

Now I need something in the line of X1300, X1600 or even X1900.

Before I shell out big bucks, I'd like to know what the max. video card is that would make sense on my system.
