Asus P4T533 + P4 2.2/100 + PC1066 = 3 GHz?

Using legit PC1066 RD, a retail box P4 2200/100, and an Asus P4T533 (or "C") can I reasonably expect to hit a fully STABLE 3 GHz with a quality HSF like an MC462, etc?

Thanks.

Its a hit or miss proposition, I have a 2.2 that does 3036, but I water cool the chip, and the temp of the chip has never exceeded 30c. Hope this helps.

Why not try a 2.26B?

If you get it to 3Ghz (175FSB), switch to 3X multiplier, you still get PC1050 RDRam.

I didn't think of that. I wasn't aware the memory FSB was that flexible on i850e boards.

Thanks. I will try that instead.
