What am I doing wrong? I can't the mobo to post in jumperless mode. I've scoured the manual but it's not too clear. I get no video signal at all. It won't even post. But in jumper mode it works fine. Am I missing something? Reseated everything. Maybe it's the bios version?

Grumpy....from what I had heard about that board is you need to update BIOS to version 1005....this adds Northwood support, so leave in jumpermode, update bios and then set to jumperless, I hope that does the trick for ya.
 
Hey man thanks for the word. I tried to get 1005 version from the Asus site but it keeps telling me that it can't find the file. I wish someone had it.
 
thats wierd, worked earlier, now it's not working for me either.....here's the site that I found link at....here.....hope that works.
 
OK! Flashed it, didn't screw up thank goodness. Am now running at 115 fsb for a while and let that burn in. Will try for more later, thanks for all your help. I don't know what I would do without you guys (aka: Trashman)! 😀
 
good to hear that everything is cool, if ya can, keep us updated, I can see a P4T-E in my near future....maybe.
