Asus P4S333 and temps

Asus Probe does not show the temps right. IT's always at 40C and today for the first time it was @41 C when I oc'd 1.6 to 2133@1.575v.
I think the bios shows the temps right but Ýsn't there a program which shows the accurete temps ?

Also there is no 1/4 pci mutipler below 133 fbs. Why??

Something is wrong with either the Sis645 or the P4S333 sensors. I am yet to find a proggy to read the temps correctly. Since i did a few reboots into Bios and have a general idea what the temps are (32C idle and 41C load at 2.3Ghz at 1.55v) it really does not matter anymore. This is a real super board and so darn easy to set up and overclock and best of all at a good price.

lol - do you believe everything your bios tells you?

its wrong - there is a 1/4 pci, it just doesnt say so.

And how do you select 1/4 pci mutipler below 133 fbs? Is it something with the jumpers on the mobo?
Actually I don't need that multipler but I'm just curios 🙂

You could flash the bios and change to an updated version that allows you to overclock your processor to 10 gigahertz so it freezes before you even turn it on. 🙂

Forget the 1/4 divider below 133MHz, ASUS needs to get up off its a$$ and come up with a 1/5 divider. 🙂

they all need to get off their @sses and make a fully adjustable bios.

there is no reason why they cant - they just dont want to 🙁

Heh if you guys had your way, you would just want a spot where you can set the cpu speed, memory speed, pci speed, agp speed....none of these damn dividers 🙂...anyway, I noticed the bios on my p4s333 is strange in that changing the bios vcore settings dont seem to apply until after i go into windows and back...its very odd....however asusprobe seems to work fine...it reports the vcore settings and the cpu temp....right now i have the bios vcore setting to 1.625v and asusprobe shows 1.664 and my cpu temp shows 41C idle and 56C with prime95 so all seems good.
