Asus P4PE Questions

Looking to get a new MB and probably going to take the asus p4pe. Only question I have is that there seems to be 2 identical models of the fully equipped p4pe [only one with firewire which I want]. These 2 boards seems to be about $9 different but with the same specs. What's the difference?

You can see the difference if you go to NewEgg or Multiwave's listings. Both are shown. The one with Firewire (I have two of them) also have SATA, RAID, USB 2, LAN, Audio, etc. The only card I use in each system is the video AGP card. All PCI slots are empty and they work great.

The Firewire connectors are on the bottom of the board, and leads are provided to a backplane insert which has two ports - one powered and one not. From there I run just the powered 6 pin lead to a Firewire hub and go from there.

Firewire, USB 2, RAID, and SATA all require BIOS enabling.

I copied these from newegg as this is what I mean. Both boards appear identical except for small difference in price and both have firewire.

The GBL has the gigabit LAN, while the L has 10/100 mb LAN. I just ordered one from googlegear which is $3 cheaper.
