Trying to use the onboard audio off the mobo, but not having much luck. Uses the ADI AD1985 AC 97 codec and SoundMax4 XL Driver/Software.
Also in the bios there's an option for disable/auto of using the onboard sound. Auto should detect any input automatically. I've tried a set of klipsch 4.1 and headphones that work on my other rig. Tried reinstalling drivers/software and not having any luck. Runinng Windows XP Corp SP2. First time using this board/onboard sound. Anyone familiar with what might be overlooked? Tried muting/unmuting all options in volume control.
