Asus P4C800 Deluxe - which 3.4 GB CPU

I need to make a decision (soon) on which processor to buy for my Asus P4C800 Deluxe MB. I can get the Intel 3.4C GB (Northwood) or the Intel 3.4E GB (Prescott). The Prescott is $10 cheaper at Egghead. Which is the better chip? I am not a big gamer and will probably run it stock.

I had leaned toward the 3.4E but I hadn't noticed previously that the Prescott was OEM and therefore didn't come with fan and heat sink. That's why it was cheaper. I didn't want to bother looking for other things to buy since I was already over-budget on my machine. Therefore, I went ahead and bought the Northwood. I'll have to give up the SSE3 and the larger cache.
