All of the different CASs of memory chips has me stymied. I'm planning on getting two 512 sticks for dual channel memory. I will be using this system for video editing and possible gaming. Is it worth it to spend the extra bucks and get CAS 2, and among CAS 2 sticks of ddr there are different variations. For example Mushkin makes a 2-3-3 chip and a 2-2-2 chip etc....Kingstgon makes a 2-3-x-x chip etc....it's all too confusing.....what memory for stock for this board? and what memory for possible ocing? If it's used for video editing, I'd probably want to run it stock....less burps....:) Thanks for any and all indput....

I would go for the tighter timmings = better memory bandwidth.
Should help with your video editing and games but movie editing I found is helped by fast HDD's and a damn good CPU
