Asus P4B533-E Problems! Can anyone verify if they have them too?

I recently bought the Asus P4B533-E and noticed quite a few problems with it.

1. When I upped the voltage, then tried to lower it, it would update the setting in the BIOS, but the hardware monitor would read it high both in the BIOS and in Windows unless I complete shut the system down.

2. I got horrible sandra memory scores while running my DDR at 333. Well below DDR266 levels.

3. The 1:1 ratio did not work at higher FSB's (didn't try it on lower FSB, so I don't know). When running at 166, I set the ratio to 1:1, but I got DDR running at well over 450. I had to set it on auto in order to get it to run at 333 at this FSB.

Does anyone else have this problem? I already RMA'ed the board in hopes of getting a GA-8IEXP, but from what I have been hearing, many people are having even worse problems with that board, so I am thinking of getting another Asus. Just curious as to whether this is a common occurrence, or whether I just was unlucky and got a bad board. Thanks in advance.

I also noticed the voltage problems.. You need to shut the system down completely before it gets updated. The Asus probe utility does read it correctly though. I haven't managed to run my PC333 ram stable so far @ 3:4 with a FSB of 132.. I am thinking of returning the board and going the RDRAM route or return it for a standard P4B533..
My system works absolutely stable @ 2.4Ghz with the RAM set to 1:1.. The memory scores aren't fantastic though, but the stability is enough for me to be happy with it :)

1) all P4B board do that. you have to power down in order for the vcore to lower itself.
are you using a wire mod?

2) i guess thats what they mean by no offial 333DDR support.

3) the 1:1 ratio is incorrect - its actually 3:4 ratio.
AUTO is 1:1.

the 3:4 ratio should work fine for you guys - we hacked the P4B266 board and its running 3:4 ratio just fine.

HTH :)

I can run it at 458 however, and it handily beats PC800 RDRAM. It's weird. Any ideas?

EDIT: Looking at your sandra scores thugsrook, my DDR is benching horribly. I wonder why it is. Perhaps a bad board? Do you think I should try a get another one, since I have already returned it. I can't think of many other options.

My memory scores @ 133FSB are quite normal for an i845E chipset (2100/2000). With the 3:4 divider my memory runs @ 176Mhz.. My memory benchmark scores are around (2600/2500) then.
