ASUS P3BF CPU thermistor

Any ideas on how to get the ASUS Probe motherboard program to recognise the correct CPU temperature ? I currenty tells me the temperature is 210 C.

What temperature is the bios reporting. Stay in bios during startup and monitor the temperature there. If it goes way high - let's say 100 degrees C and rising, the cpu temp hardware is probably bad.

You have to upgrade your BIOS to 1005 from the Asus site
go there, read, and you'll see there is a fix for reading improper temps which are much too high
I havent done it yet, and my temp reads nearly 50C with my case off and a good fan blowing right onto my CPU.. it's not actually 50 i know that, but yeah, go get the new BIOS.

i thinkk you need to reseat your cpu there guy i had 1003 bios and it never missed a beat. i used asus probe 2.02 until i went to the 1005 bios then i got motherboard monitor but dont run them both they screww each other up start showing wild spike with them both running
